For this year’s limited edition sauce, I wanted to explore some new ingredients, blended with some Darkfire favourites.
Our Black No.1 sauce has been a firm favourite for years, so how to take that delicious black garlic flavour into a new dimension.
Insomnia is a bold and luxurious creation designed to hit all five flavours with balance and harmony.
Black garlic brings the umami, kombucha hits the sour notes, date syrup delivers a rich sweetness, espresso adds a little bitterness and the barrel aged chili mash provides the salt. Need a little more? We finished it off with some freshly toasted cardamom.
